If you have someone that is difficult to buy for and they have a gun in need of restoration, this would be the perfect gift!

This is how bluing works for all of you who may not know how valuable it is! If you know of someone that has an old gun and it has lost any of the finish on the metal parts, it will begin to rust. If there is any amount of rust on the inside, it won't shoot correctly. Rust on the inside or outside, and it will eventually eat its way through the metal, destroying what is probably a valuable asset!

The bluing process removes all previous finish and rust both on the inside and outside with an incredible amount of polishing and glass bead blasting. We then coat the metal surfaces with a chemical process that brings the gun back to its original condition restoring the lustre to the metal and removing rust and pitting caused by rust.

We enclose a care sheet with the gun when it is returned, that if followed correctly, ensures that a gun will never need to be blued again! So, this is a very worthwhile investment!

Our services range from $45.00 - $185.00. It would be an additional $50.00 should you need disassembly/reassembly services. Stockwork is also additional and is dependant upon what needs to be done.

Your completed gift certificate will either be emailed to you or mailed to you or a person of your choice. It's up to you! The person receiving it would then need to contact us to discuss what bluing option they would prefer, what they would be sending us, for shipping information, etc.

By the way, I got the piece today and I'm a craftsman myself at my own trade which is psychology and can definitely tell craftsmanship when I see it and your job on my rifle was one of the finest pieces of craftsmanship I have ever seen in my 61 some odd years on this planet. Just a quick E-mail letting you know that the box arrived today. Tell Mark I was VERY impressed with the fine job that he did on the gun parts! I can't wait to show it to my friends to see their reactions. I know that gun wasn't in the best condition when I sent it but he sure did a fantastic job removing those bad spots. Thanks for the tip on where to get some boxes ... I went ahead and ordered some but will take up to 10 to 14 days until they arrive so I am going to reuse the box that I got from you and then I'll have those boxes I ordered for the next time. I'll probably have the other box of parts on the way this Friday but will E-mail you once I've sent it out. Now I am going back to looking at the gun some more ... it just beautiful. One thing I can say for certain about Mark's work is that he sure knows how to take an old relic and bring it back to life as if it never left the factory.
