Accounts are suspended for various reasons. If your account is suspended, you should have received an email detailing the reason(s).
Some of the main reasons for account suspensions are listed below:
-
Contact info not valid
-
Buyer complaint that seller has neglected to respond to Bidzinger admin email. We usually give the seller 3-7 days to reply to our requests for information.
-
Bidding on items without paying. We usually do not suspend for only one of these types of infractions, but we reserve the right to take action we deem necessary after conducting our investigations.
-
Repeated violations of our listing policies. (spam listings, illegal items, links in auctions, etc,.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Members who are suspended are prohibited from registering new accounts, bidding or selling on Bidzinger using any other existing accounts. Bidzinger reserves the right to suspend existing accounts as well as new accounts opened by anyone in the same household of a suspended user or by any other associates of a suspended user.
To close your account you would just need to turn all your email preferences to the off position, and end any active auctions you may have running.
You would then not receive any correspondence from our site in the future, unless you turn any of your email preferences back on. If you have been the buyer or seller in any recent transactions, you may receive correspondence from the other member involved.
We do not purge accounts from our database, for internal security reasons. Requests for such a purge will not be completed, unless a court order is issued.
Although we do our best to keep such sellers off our site, this problem does arise occasionally. We recommend that you send details of the transaction to
admin@bidzinger.com Be sure to include auction number(s), sellers username, date and method of payment, and any other information that would assist us in our investigation.
We will do our best to mediate a resolution for you, but there is no way for us to recoup funds for you, or guarantee you any specific results. We ask that you use "safe" payment methods when making purchases from buyers you are not familiar with. When we say "safe", we are referring to payments through Paypal or Google, as you have the chargeback process available for such issues. We strongly recommend that you do not use cash, money orders, checks, or wire transfers to pay sellers you are not familiar with, or sellers that have limited feedback ratings. These payment methods leave little or no recourse for the buyer, in regards to recouping funds paid to the seller.
Bidzinger will thoroughly investigate all such claims, then take appropriate action against sellers accounts that are not in compliance. We will also take steps to hinder these persons from signing up to sell on the site again.
We suggest filing complaints with the appropriate agencies below, should Bidzinger not be able to resolve your issues.

To leave feedback you will need to login to your account, then click the feedback tab in the members area. There are two section on the feedback page... The first section displays your feedback, and the second section is the auctions you have yet to leave feedback for. Just click the "proceed" link for the appropriate auction you wish to leave feedback for.
A bid or Buy Out purchase is considered a contract and you are obligated to purchase the item.
However, mistakes sometimes happen, and many sellers are willing to work with you if you communicate with them openly and honestly. If you have not done so already, you may want to give the seller a call, or send them an email. Let the seller know your situation, and see if you can work things out to everyone's satisfaction.
If the seller does not respond in the way you hope, keep in mind that failing to purchase an item you have won may result in negative feedback, as well as an Non paying bidder strike against your account. Too many unpaid item strikes may result in permanent suspension of your account.
Click the "my account" tab in the members area, then click the "manage account" sub-tab. Scroll down to the direct payment settings, then enter your paypal email address, then click the update button at the bottom of the page. Now when you list auctions, select the "paypal" option for direct payment settings.
You need to be sure to set up the callback url in Paypal, so Paypal automatically updates the payment status for auctions paid with direct pay. To do this you will need to log in to your Paypal account, click the "profile" link, then click the "instant payment notification" link. On this page you will need to turn this preference on, and include the below url as the IPN url.
Your buyers will now be able to pay you directly through a paypal pay now button on the Bidzinger site. This must be completed before listing items, and you must select paypal direct pay for each auction for this to work.
You will need to follow the below steps to list your items. Click on the “Sell” link on the main menu located at the top of the webpage. You will be sent to step 1 of listing your item.
Step 1: Main Category:
Click the Main Category that your item fits in to best, then choose the appropriate sub-categories.
Step 2: Second Category:
Click a second category for your item (optional). If you do not want a second category for your item, click the text button "Skip Next Step".
Step 3: Item Details:
Item Name: Enter the title of your auction in the "Item Name" text box. Enter as descriptive text as possible, as this is what will drive buyers to look at your auction.(45 character limit) Description: In the description box enter your text description, or your own html(no java). To enter your own html simply click the view html source button, which looks like this "<>". Then copy and paste your html into the box. Click the view html source button and you can see how your ad will look.
If you are not using your own html, you can just type your text into the description box. This program works similar to a word processor, so if you want to get fancy you can use the tools avialable to change fonts, add bullets, change font color, insert images, plus much more.
Step 4: Auction Settings
Auction Type: Choose the auction type from the drop down menu. Standard auction is for one item. If you want to list a quantity of greater than one, select dutch auction.
Auction Currency: Change the currency setting if you are a seller outside the US.
Item Quantity: Enter the quantity of items to be sold on this auction.
Auction Starts at: Enter the price you want your auction to start at. (NOTE: If you want to list a "Buy Out Only" auction, you need to set the start price equal to the buy out price.)
Reserve Price: Enter a reserve price (optional). Reserve price is the lowest you would be willing to sell your item at. So if you set a reserve price of $20.00, and your auction ended with the highest bid at $19.00, your item would end as unsold.
Buy Out: Enter a buy out price (optional). This would enable prospective buyer the option of buying at the price listed instead of waiting until the end of the auction. The buy now price must be equal to or higher than the start price.
Bid Increment: Leave this as it is, unless you want to set the bid increments to a different setting. A bid increment is the amount a bidder must bid over the previous bidder. So if you set the bid increment at $1.00 and there was a bid on your item of $5.00, the next bidder would have to bid at least $6.00.
Featured Item: These are options that have a fee involved. You will see the current price for these items next to each item.
Start Time: Your auction will start immediaty upon submission, unless you click the custom box and enter the date and time you want your auction to start.
Duration: Choose the length of the auction you want from the drop down menu.
Private Auction: Choose this if you wish your bidders ID hidden.
Auto Relist: Check this option if you want your item to automatically relist if unsold. If you choose enhanced options like homepage featured on this auction, you will incur the fees for the initial listing of that item, but you will not incur the fees for that listing each time this auction is relisted.
Upload Picture: Click the browse button and locate the picture for the auction from your computer. Once you find the picture or enter the url of the picture, click the "upload file" button. The page will refresh and you will now see a thumbnail of your picture in the images section of the listing page.
Your pictures should be less than 100kb and jpeg format to upload correctly. If your picture does not show up when listed, your picture is either the wrong format, too large, or you failed to click the "upload file" button before proceeding to the next step.
Picture Gallery: Here you can upload up to three additional pictures. Size limitations are the same as above.
Choose auto relist if you want your auction to relist if unsold. Choose auto relist if sold when you want your auctions to relist even if sold. Enter the amount of times you want your item to relist. The maximum is 99 times.
Enter your country and zip code, then click the next step button.
Step 5: Shipping & Payment Shipping Conditions:
Select who pays for shipping and check the international box if you ship internationally. Payment Methods: Select which payment options you will accept.
Select direct payment methods for this item by checking the direct payment box. If you are not able to check the box, you need to set up these payment methods from the account management page. (My Account>>Manage Account). By using direct payment, buyers are able to pay for the item directly through the WeBidz site.
Postage Costs: Enter shipping costs here. If unsure of costs, leave blank and place estimated costs in the Shipping & Payment Details box below.
Insurance: Enter insurance cost (optional).
Shipping & Payment Details: Enter shipping payment instructions/details here.
Type of Service: Select shipping service used * TOTAL SETUP FEES: This will show you the charges for listing this auction, most auctions do not have a fee unless additional options were chosen on the previous page. By clicking the next step button you state that you agree to the Terms and Conditions as listed.
Step 6: Auction Preview:
preview your auction to ensure all is correct, then hit the submit button.
There are very few fees on Bidzinger, so invoice payments will only apply to members who list with enhanced features that have a cost involved or if you have made lots of sales, there are final value fees.
NOTE: We do not require payment for accounts with a balance due of $2.00 or less. Monthly invoices will not be sent to users with a balance less than $2.00.
There are various ways to get paid from your buyers. YOU can decide which forms of payment are acceptable to you. You have the freedom to accept what payment methods you choose to accept; NOT what we decide like other auction sites.
While listing an item, you would select which payment methods you will accept. You would then invoice your buyer after the sale either from your selling page in the members area, from the Bidzinger Auction Manager software, or simply sending them an email. You would inform them of the total due and what forms of payment you accept.
